This past weekend was the Bye Bye Buckhead party. All of the restaurants and bars sponsored this huge block party. Ben Carter Properties has purchased all of the land/buildings between Pharr Rd, Peachtree Rd and East Paces Ferry. Supposedly they paid 500 a sqr foot for the land, Ouch!! The skyline at my condo is really going to change here shortly. Two condos, a hotel, retail space and office space will be occupying the new “Streets of Buckhead“. Ben Carter’s plan is to make Buckhead into the “Rodeo Drive” of Atlanta. Should be interesting!
