Million Dollar Buddies
TV-G
Three childhood friends in Atlanta decide to form a corporation in hopes of making millions by flipping houses. But when they flip a house together, problems arise when they hire a contractor they cant get along with. |
Should be an interesting show. Get the inside scoop by clicking on the investment property category tag on the right. I documented the entire flip and filming process. We will see how it looks on TV.

I didn’t steal your 15 minutes of fame afterall! Although I am bummed we won’t be back yet for the viewing party! Can’t wait to see my “million dollar” brother.
I’m so excited about seeing this. Please TiVo or record it somehow…
Do you know if y’all will be split across a couple shows or just one?

Where in Atlanta is the house located?
Taylor - Our episode is going to be a one hour episode but they are going to show it at 8:00 pm and 11: pm on the 29th.
Sandy - Our Investment House is located in Kirkwood which is part of East Atlanta. Our zip code is 30317.
I want an autograph.
Hope you are doing well.
Certainly seems like you should have taken some more advice. Maybe you should have spent more of your own time on your investment. Good luck ever selling that thing.
of course, nothing compares to your education…. but, did the house sell???? burning curiosity!!! how much? please tell.
I love you man.
David- my wife and I enjoyed the show! It was nice to find your blog to get a bit more of an idea behind the episode. We put up a post you might enjoy (or might not) at our blog at thepropertypundit.com.
I hope we weren’t too hard on you guys. I’m sure there was a lot more going on behind the scenes, but they’ve got to dramatize it.
After reading our post, we’d be happy to put up a guest post by you to explain yourselves. Just let me know!
Hey David … its me Angela Carrington (season3), yes the crazy female with the chip, that hates men and will not let a man take advantage of her!
O’and just for the record:
I am so not that “out of control” person …
What a twisted edited trip!
WELL … NOW THAT THATS OUT OF THE WAY ….
Great job on your house - show was great …. I hope you have sold the house. Did you?
Just came across this site and wanted to say hello to another property ladder “talent” …. shall we say!
Hope all is well - All my Best … Angela
Really enjoyed the show.
So??? did your house sell? how much?
Did you sell?
Hello All,
We are in the process of refinancing. Our plan is to rent the house until the real-estate market turns around. It looks like it could be a couple of years before the Atlanta Market gets better.
Thanks for the posts,
David

Hi what is the address of the house, could you post it or a link so others (myself included) who might be interested could look at it?
Sorry, I cant give out the address due to privacy reasons. I dont want people vandalizing the property. Have your realtor email me and I’ll give them the address. Thank you.
I was cheering for you. I agree with “the mob” that you made some bad choices. But you also had every kind of bad luck (did an inspector miss all of that?) but still managed to persevere through whatever the house threw at you and got the job done.
I think that what screwed you guys most was the architect and the master bathroom. An out of the way shower (it looked tucked in a weird space) and a small tub may have been deal-breakers for many potential buyers. I didn’t see the usefulness of a small “hallway” to get to the shower, why not fill that space with more shower stall?
I am house shopping (nowhere near you guys - sorry) and I have not placed bids on houses based upon the master bath. (The kitchen is another deal breaker for me - but you had that well in hand)
Hey David - congrats on your show, and thanks for posting about it! What an awesome adventure for you guys. Way to go out on a limb, try something new, and hang in there through the learning curve. You’re head and shoulders above those critics who never risk anything for fear of failure. The house looks great. Hope you guys get your millions and more! Best of luck to you.
WOW - Watching the Oct 11th episode - guys at any point did you think to actually pay attention to the lady WHO DOES THIS FOR A LIVING? This was painful to watch - good luck with all that.
David
If you had listened to Kirsten and omitted the addition as well as the other upgrades she said to scrap, and only invested 15k to the 146k of the purchase, what would the price point for a sale been and what would have been the “kirsten profit margin” … assuming it went for median market value and you flipped it in 30 days.
Im interested in your thoughts.
Good luck on future endeavors
